I can't wait to return for another adventure
We had the most amazing stay at Rio Perdido. From we arrived, I was like wow the beauty of the place. It truly felt lush and eco friendly like being in the woods, but the lux of a five-star hotel.
The staff: were incredible, super friendly and attentive. Not only were they friendly, but they also remembered my name from he first day.
And let's talk about the food – wow! I couldn't believe how delicious every meal was. I found myself ordering the same dishes multiple times throughout the week, I never got tired of anything. We ate the whole menu!!!
In addition Rio Perdido offers a lot of extra activities. like, thermal baths, hikes, bikes, and ziplines, there's lots to do. My girlfriend and I had an absolute best time exploring all the adventures this place had to offer.
Overall, my stay at Rio Perdido was amazing. I can't wait to return for another adventure.
I truly want to thank the staff and management, they made my birthday trip super special.

A magical place
This place is magical! We would recommend Rio Perdido to anyone looking to feel tucked away in beautiful, secluded nature while also getting amazing service from the staff. Everyone was extremely kind and eager to be helpful!
There was so much to do on the property, we didn’t ever leave during our 4 night stay. The thermal pools were amazing! We spent some time each day at the pools and usually had lunch at the pool bar. The food was so good! We didn’t have anything we didn’t like!
We walked down to the thermal rivers multiple times as well! So secluded and relaxing and beautiful!
My husband and I went on multiple of the hiking trails on the property. Las Tumbas Hike will give you an amazing view as a reward for the hour long intermediate+ hike!
We actually spent the last few days in Peninsula Papagayo at another resort, and we wished we had just stayed at Rio Perdido! A piece of our heart is definitely there!
An amazing gourmet nature experience
We were impressed by the beautiful design of the facilities, the creative food selections and the shared happiness of each of the employees who serviced us. The setting is rather magical and there are many activities to enjoy, we loved the thermal river experience and the jungle walks. We are already planning to go back next year.
Serendipity
Do yourself a favor and visit this piece of paradise. We stayed here for 5 days and it did not disappoint! Rio Perdido and vicinity has so much to offer.
Team members went above and beyond it was refreshing to see how proud they are to work here that says a lot about how management/owners are operating.
This place cares about wildlife and the conservation of their habitat.
Food was amazing! I tried a different dish at every meal and it did not disappoint. 80% organic and 110% fresh!
I’m still in Costa Rica and planning a return without hesitation. Hoping everyone treats this country with the respect and care it deserves.
Un petit coin de paradis
Quelle belle expérience, les chambres (center) sont absolument magnifiques (je suis architecte). Bien intégrées dans le paysage, élégantes, salle de bain exceptionnelle avec double douche extérieure. Vue depuis la chambre époustouflante vers la nature
Restaurant de grande qualité. Personnel souriant et attentionné. Source d’eau chaude thermale avec trois piscines extérieures aménagées dans la nature en plein rivière , expérience inouïe Trois piscines en dur au niveau de l’hôtel également de températures différentes.
Espectacular!!
ESPECTACULAR!! Despertar en medio de la jungla, rodeados de hermosos animales fue increíble. A parte tuvimos una preciosa habitación, dotada con todo lo que se necesitábamos para que nuestra estadía fuera perfecta. Me encantó!!
Una experiencia maravillosa!
El lugar es espectacular y la atención del personal es grandiosa. Tienen mucha atención por los detalles. La comida es única y uno de los puntos más altos. Las experiencias dentro de la propiedad son muy buenas también. Muy linda infraestructura. Recomendado!
