Sourcing & Flavors
Ingredients not grown on-site are sourced from local farmers, fishermen, and artisans. The menu features traditional Costa Rican dishes — like Fresh handmade gallos with our house chili — alongside international options with regional flavor.
La Huerta: from garden to plate
A key part of our food philosophy is La Huerta, the on-site organic mandala garden. More than a source of ingredients, it’s a living part of the retreat. With over 50 medicinal herbs and vegetables, the garden brings local plants into daily meals and infusions.
Where you'll dine
Meals are served à la carte in our open-air restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Canyon Bar is an alternate venue during the day — creating space for the group to connect throughout the day.
Menu Customization
Retreat leaders can collaborate directly with the chef to create menus aligned with the retreat’s theme. All dietary needs can be accommodated, including vegan, gluten-free, and keto options.
Canyon Adventure
A high-adrenaline experience in the Río Blanco canyon featuring 5 ziplines, a 50-ft Tarzan swing, a 90-ft suspension bridge, and via ferrata rock climbing. This world-class zip-line circuit uses near-silent carbon-fiber cables, so you feel truly immersed in nature as you soar. It’s an unforgettable way for your group to bond and step out of their comfort zone safely.
Mix it up with Guaro
A fun, culturally immersive cocktail experience featuring Guaro, Costa Rica’s traditional sugarcane spirit. Learn about its history and flavor as our bartender demonstrates how to mix two to three tropical cocktails using fresh fruits, spices, and local ingredients. You’ll also discover how to make the iconic Chiliguaro shot. A flavorful, relaxed way to bring everyone together in the evening.
Stargazing Experience
An off-site excursion to a highland viewpoint with zero light pollution. Led by an astronomy guide, your group will have a telescope and laser pointer to identify constellations, planets, and satellites. Lie back and gaze at the Milky Way, or even plan this on a meteor shower night for something truly special. This can double as a cosmic meditation session.
